Kentucky Spirit Health Plan would like to welcome our members and providers throughout the state of Kentucky. As a Managed Care Organization working with the Department for Medicaid Services, Kentucky Spirit Health Plan will provide members with quality care and services they deserve. We also recognize the important role healthcare providers play in ensuring member access to high quality services. We are committed to developing lasting partnerships with them. Based in Lexington, KY, Kentucky Spirit Health Plan provides personalized service and understands the local environment and issues our members and providers face.

We will begin serving members on Oct. 1, 2011. Kentucky Spirit Health Plan will be sending members a Welcome Letter and a Temporary ID that will ensure our members have access to services during this very busy time. We will then send our members an enrollment kit that will include a Permanent ID card and a packet of information on our programs, benefits and services. The packet will arrive in early October.

We Welcome our Providers…
Kentucky Spirit Health Plan is here for hospitals, physicians and other healthcare providers to be a partner for success. We provide resources and support for you, your practice and your patients. We have minimal referral requirements and limited prior authorizations to help reduce administrative hassle so the physician offices can focus on what they do best – provide quality healthcare to members. Our electronic and web-based claims submission process, and central claims processing facility and medical review unit facilitate timely and accurate claims payments with the average clean claim processed in just seven to eight days.
